Speaking our way to belonging

I have just spent four days with Stephen Schuitevoerder exploring Process Work, known to some from the book by Arnold Mindell Sitting in the Fire. The course was organised by Rho Sandberg.

Some part of this work is speaking one’s own truth, saying the stuff we find hard to say, being vulnerable and in doing so finding one’s own authentic voice and collectively creating a sense of belonging in a group.

A few weeks ago and quite separately a colleague Moira Deslandes recommended the poetry of David Whyte.  This morning felt like a good time to listen to David Whyte and his poem on belonging and coming home describes this work in very beautiful words.
